China or bust it seemed for Diego Costa after rumours surfaced of him being unhappy with Chelsea staff and him wanting to leave English football. The club officially released a statement saying “On Tuesday, Diego stopped training with a pain in his back and then in the week he didn’t train with us.” He returned to training late in the week and all seemed to be the usual media lies.
But then, Diego Costa’s return was quickly overshadowed by a terrifying injury sustained by Ryan Mason.
In a statement released by Hull City, “The Club can confirm that Ryan Mason sustained a skull fracture in our fixture at Chelsea this afternoon. He was taken to St Mary’s Hospital where he has undergone surgery.
Ryan is in a stable condition and is expected to remain in hospital for the next few days.Everyone at the Club would like to express their sincere thanks for the excellent and swift care given to Ryan by both the Accident and Emergency department and Neurosurgery Unit at St Mary’s Hospital.”
Get well soon Ryan!
